Watch boxing pound for pound great Nonito Donaire in action this Saturday December 15 live on HBO, and tune in to Bloody Elbow for fight night coverage, including live results and discussion.

This is a nice stretch of weeks for boxing fans. After a big fight from Miguel Cotto and the epic Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez IV, we have yet another of boxing's elite in action this weekend. On Saturday night, December 15, "The Filipino Flash" Nonito Donaire (30-1, 19 KOs) faces Jorge Arce (60-6-2(1), 46 KOs). Donaire vs. Arce airs live on HBO boxing, Saturday night, December 15 starting at 9:30 p.m. ET / 6:30 p.m. PT.

Donaire is generally held as just a notch below the likes of Floyd Mayweather, Andre Ward and Sergio Martinez (and now Juan Manual Marquez) on the list of boxing's current pound for pound greats. The Super Bantamweight champion is a 4 division champion with some incredible knock outs on his resume. Against Arce, he looks for his 4th win of 2012, and a claim as fighter of the year.

Preceding the Donaire vs. Arce main event will be a replay of Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez IV.

Join us here at Bloody Elbow Saturday night December 15 for round by round coverage and discussion of Donaire vs. Arce, live on HBO.

Round 1: Cautious start from Arce while Donaire established his jab and landed the better shots. Nothing huge, but Nonito was clearly the superior boxer. 10-9 Donaire.

Round 2: More caution from Arce and Donaire makes him pay with a right hand that scores a knockdown. Arce came back with some fire, but then slowed down again in the last minute. 10-8 Donaire.

Round 3: Arce came out more aggressive this time. He looked to be turning the tide, but Donaire caught him and put him down with a right hand counter. Arce made it back to his feet, but was still wobbly, and a textbook left hook put Arce down and out. Nasty KO.

Nonito Donaire def. Jorge Arce by KO, round 3, 2:59
