Did Marquez just make a Superfight in MMA easier?

(my bad if anyone has posted this observation already)

I'll make this quick: The Marquez right hand should put the fear of God into the UFC front office. That's a good thing.

Marquez all but killed the Mayweather Pacquiao superfight talk. In doing so, he probably put the UFC brass on notice about how much money those two left on the table with their bickering and contract negotiations that were held back by minutiae. Dana & Co. saw Pacquiao sniffing canvas and (hopefully) thought, "....and that's how easy a once-in-a-generation fight can slip through your fingers".

The Pacquiao KO has - I suspect - lit a fire under the ass of the brass to do whatever they need to do in order for HUGE fights to happen; this is either GSP v Silva or Silva v Jones. The issue as I see it is the likelihood that the fighters do not and probably should not care for this angle.

The above isn't a concrete belief; I wouldn't have made a fanpost if it was. I'm trying to get opinions on the matter.
