UFC President Dana White revealed to fans that Middleweight champion Anderson Silva wants a new 10 fight deal. White is trying to set up super fights for Silva against Welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre and Light Heavyweight champ Jon Jones.

UFC president Dana White did aa live chat with MetroPCS last week and revealed that he offered UFC Middleweight champion Anderson Silva a new 8-fight contract offer. Silva's response according to White?

"F**k that, I want a 10-fight deal."

Pretty ambitious, especially considering that the 37-year-old Silva turns 38 in April and it's unlikely he'll fight again before that date. Silva has said he wants to take most of 2013 off and not fight again until nearly the end of the year.

Silva has been fighting twice a year since 2009. He fought three times in 2008 and 2007 and four times in 2006.

White and UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta have been working to book two "Super Fights" for Silva: one against Welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre and the other against Light Heavyweight champ Jon Jones.

So far GSP seems uninterested in facing Silva and is insisting the fight take place at his native 170 pounds rather than meeting in the middle.

Jones, for his part, has long dismissed talk of a fight against Silva but he's seemingly becoming more open to it in recent months.

Silva also has a Middleweight division full of formidable contenders like Chris Weidman, Michael Bisping, Strikeforce champ Luke Rockhold, Tim Boetsch and Alan Belcher. At some point he'll need to defend his belt.
