Almost submitting UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has apparently raised the stock of a certain Phenom. Vitor Belfort has opened as a favorite over Michael Bisping for their UFC on FX 7 main event bout on January 19th. Here's a look at the best price you can get on both fighters at the moment (via BestFightOdds):

Only two sites (5Dimes and SportBet) are offering lines so far, but i don't think any new line is going to be very far off of these two. The line is pretty well set in my opinion, since it's a pretty tough fight to call. Bisping is very good at playing the outside game, but Belfort's handspeed has to be a serious concern for him. To the point that he might try to wrestle his way to a decision. Belfort hasn't been out of the first round at 185 in a long time though, and might have some cardio issues later on in the fight. There are lots of variables on both sides.

Right now I'd actually lean towards a bet on Bisping, but waiting is probably a wiser course of action if you're going to wager on the Brit. I expect that the early betting would be on Belfort, which will make the odds on Bisping more attractive closer to the fight. And if you're going to bet on Belfort, I'd suggest doing it now.
