UFC Middleweight Chris Weidman faces the formidable Tim Boetsch at UFC 155 on December 29 in Las Vegas, Nevada but it's fair to say he's had a bigger opponent on his mind this week. Weidman's Long Island, New York home and neighborhood were hit hard by Hurricane Sandy last week.

In this video exclusive he talks to MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani about the devastation, the storm and the aftermath two days after Sandy destroyed his home and ravaged his neighborhood. Hundreds of thousands of Americans remain without power in the greater New York region following the storm, one of the worst natural disasters in American history.

Lower Manhattan flooded including the famous New York subways, many of which remain under water.
