Ed Soares' promotion Resurrection Fighting Alliance is back with their fifth event tonight. Soares and RFA made news last month when they announced a merger with the California-based Tachi Palace Fights. In tonight's headlining bout Jared Downing will meet Jordan Rinaldi to fight for the Featherweight championship. Downing has a career record of 8-1 and is on a 2-fight win streak, his only loss came to Roberto Vargas in October 2011. Rinaldi is undefeated with a record of 6-0. He'll be making his Featherweight debut tonight.
The 7 fight main card will be broadcast on AXS TV (formerly HDNet) at 10 pm EST.
