According to a list of 772 fighters released by MMA Manifesto, UFC legends Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz are tops in lifetime earnings for UFC athletes.
MMA Manifesto has added up the announced career earnings of every UFC fighter since UFC 46 in 2004, when Athletic Commissions started releasing fighter purse info.
The figures are based on the fighter salary information that promoters are legally required to turn in to the local governing body, including bonuses.
These figures do NOT calculate the fighters net income.
Fighters must pay a lot of expenses out of their fight purses including training expenses, management fees, training costs, insurance, licenses, and taxes.
On the income side, sponsorship money is not included nor are the UFC's famous "locker room bonuses," nor are any percentage of PPV revenue given to top fighters.
