UFC Lightweight Jeremy Stephens is facing serious criminal charges in his homestate of Iowa. Stephens was arrested in Minneapolis, MN just hours before he was scheduled to fight Yves Edwards at UFC On FX 5. He had an outstanding an outstanding warrant stemming from an incident in the fall of 2011. He was transferred to Iowa authorities and held for almost 2 weeks before being released on a $20,000 bond.

Stephens will be facing 3 criminal charges - willful injury causing serious injury (Class C felony), burglary in the first degree (Class B felony), and assault causing bodily injury (serious misdemeanor).
