Che Mills likely to meet Matt Riddle in February's UFC on Fuel 7 card from London

Anne-Marie Sorvin-US PRESSWIRE

Che Mills and Matt Riddle are being matched up for a fight in early 2013 when the UFC returns to London and Wembly Arena.

Che Mills will return to the Octagon in early 2013 and it appears that he'll be squaring off with Matt Riddle. Mills' last trip to the Octagon resulted in a win due to a knee injury suffered by Duane Ludwig while Riddle beat John Maguire earlier this month.

Fighters Only broke the news of the match-up:

Che Mills and Matt Riddle are being lined up for a fight on the 2013 London UFC card, Fighters Only has learned.

The UFC confirmed today that it will be visiting London’s Wembley Arena on Saturday February 16 with ‘UFC on FUEL TV 7’.

Fighters Only was informed several days ago that the organization was looking to match Mills and Riddle on a card early in 2013.

Riddle's entire career has been contested in the UFC cage, since a stint on The Ultimate Fighter's seventh season. In that time Riddle has gone 7-3 with one no contest.

Mills is 2-1 in the UFC with a win over hopelessly outmatched Chris Cope and the aforementioned injury win over Ludwig. His loss came when matched up with Rory MacDonald in a fight where Mills was promoted somewhat unfairly as one of the most dangerous men in the division.
