The fights bookings are slowly filling up for UFC on FOX 6 in Chicago, and another preliminary card matchup has been made. Middleweights Rafael Natal and Magnus Cedenblad are set to battle in the Windy City according to MMA Junkie.
A middleweight matchup between Swedish prospect Magnus Cedenblad (10-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) and Brazilian import Rafael Natal (14-4-1 MMA, 2-2-1 UFC) is the latest addition to UFC on FOX 6.
Natal has been in entertaining bouts in the past, including his most recent one against Andrew Craig. Unfortunately for him Craig rallied and knocked Natal out with a head kick late in the 2nd round of their July encounter. It snapped a 3 fight unbeaten streak and marked his first knockout defeat in 4 years (also by head kick). Natal holds a pre-UFC win over the Michael Jordan of BJJ, the incomparable Travis Lutter.
Cedenblad lost his debut against Francis Carmont via submission in front of his home fans at UFC on FUEL in Sweden. Prior to that he'd won 7 straight on European regional shows, which helped propel him to the UFC. Now this upcoming fight with Natal is likely a must-win if he wants to avoid a possible pink slip.
It is unknown whether this fight will air on FX or Facebook, but I'd say this will likely be on Facebook looking at the other preliminary card fights.
