Big Changes for Anderson

Hello everybody,

When I first started training in a gi, a few people on here warned me that I might get addicted to BJJ and forget about mma. I said never, that will never happen. Well mea culpa. It did happen. I am in the midst of switching from Fight Club Pittsburgh MMA to Renzo Gracie Pittsburgh. This change came about partially because my head instructor, Renzo Gracie Black Belt Warren Stout is ending his extension program at FCP MMA and focusing on his academy and BJJ in general, but also because I find myself enjoying gi training and ground training in general much more enjoyable that stand up. (i.e. I don't enjoy being punched in the face). Also I find myself much more relaxed happy and enjoying life in general after I have been training in the gi. I am only a two stripe now, but all of my instructors keep saying my third stripe is close but more importantly I am learning to flow and roll. In the last few weeks I have also started learning spider guard and butterfly guard stuff and am starting to really get comfortable on my back, which is not easy with a wrestling background of almost ten years. Long story short Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has become my drug of choice and I love it.
