Eugene S. Robinson, author of Fight!, interviews Jose "the Matador" Palacios in this edition of Knuckle Up.
Eugene S. Robinson, KNUCKLE UP host, man of questionable moral character and wholly not opposed to shame as an educational tool, rounds out ROUND #495 with an in-house interview with the newest star of cage and screen, JOSE "THE MATADOR" PALACIOS who, while following in the path blazed by his former coach CUNG LE, is appearing in a recently opened indie feature film called CITY AT WAR. He also talks about San Shou's effectiveness in the cage, his move from San Shou to MMA and Muay Thai, his upcoming fight in December in New York and much more.
Add to this his takes on the GSP-SILVA superfight, LEOPOLDO SERAO'S pick of the real superfight people actually would WANT to see and BJJ BY THE BAY SuperFight winner SERGIO COSTA and you have a show worth watching. Even if the host looks like he just rolled out of bed...a bed of PAIN.
Yeah. Whatever. Happy Thanksgiving Day.
When Eugene S. Robinson author of Fight: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Ass-Kicking but Were Afraid You'd Get Your Ass Kicked for Asking and host of Knuckle Up says you are going to get hurt but he's "not talking about feelings" he probably means FEELINGS. As in the song of the same name. Because that's just him. And he hates that song.
Whoa whoa whoa feelings.
And despite comments from the peanut gallery that he should improve his chances of not being confused with Ol' Dirty Bastard by maybe shaving every once in a while he refuses though cedes he will do the show in a tuxedo if YOU the viewers tell him to. Until then? Underoos and fight shirts!
It's a sunny ride through a shady place. Enjoy.
