Led by former Strikeforce executive, Shannon Knapp, Invicta FC is back with another stacked card in Kansas City. Headlining Invicta's fourth show of all women fights is the #4 Carla Esparza and undefeated Claudia Gadelha. Gadelha, has a missing fight on Sherdog in which she competed at 115. This will be her second fight at 115 and will be her toughest to date. Esparza was originally scheduled to compete with #3 Ayaka Hamasaki, but she had to defend her belt for Jewels in December.

The co-main is currently set for Josh Barnett Catch-as-Catch Can trained and #6 Shayna Baszler taking on Strikeforce standout #4 Alexis Davis at Bantamweight. In addition, one time Strikeforce Featherweight title challenger, #11 Hiroko Yamanaka takes on fast rising #9 Edianne Gomes in featherweight action.

Also on the card will be top strawweight prospects #8 Joanne "BADMOFO" Calderwood vs. Bec Hyatt. Click "BADMOFO" for gif.

Sarah Kaufman was slated to fight Leslie Smith, but had to pull out due to injury. A replacement for Leslie Smith is underway.
