Rener Gracie and younger brother Ralek Gracie look at the Guard battle between Georges St. Pierre and Carlos Condit from last night's UFC 154 main event
Most of last night's UFC 154 main event took place on the ground, as champion Georges St. Pierre battled inside the dangerous guard of challenger Carlos Condit. Many subtleties happened in this area of the fight, with GSP systematically shutting down Condit's offensive guard, and Condit attempting to use crafty hip movement and angles to create openings and opportunities in an attempt to catch GSP in a fight ending submission, all mixed in with more than a spattering of Ground 'n' Pound from both combatants.
The inimitable Rener Gracie along with younger brother Ralek Gracie go into the finer details of GSP's passing to Three-Quarter and Half-Guard, as well as the interesting sequence that saw Carlos Condit attempt a kneebar which he re-countered into a triangle attempt when GSP defended.
