UFC 154 kicked off tonight with three fights on the facebook prelims and four fights on FX. The Facebook prelims featured a welterweight bout between Matt Riddle and John Maguire. Over three rounds of action, Riddle out-pointed his way to a decision victory.
Opening up the FX show, Antonio Carvalho faced off against Rodrigo Damm. Throughout their fight, Carvalho punished Damm with brutal leg kicks. By the end of the second round almost the entirety of Damm's thigh was reddened and bruised by the strikes. When the judges voiced their opinions, Carvalho got the unanimous decision by putting forth mcuh more damage over the 15 minute fight.
