UFC 154: St. Pierre vs. Condit - Live results and play-by-play for PPV

As with every major show, Bloody Elbow will be here to bring you live results, play by play and commentary for UFC 154: St. Pierre vs. Condit. Our live coverage will start with the prelim fights on Facebook (currently scheduled for 6:35 p.m. ET) and continuing through the FX undercard broadcast (8 p.m. ET) through the main card on pay-per-view (10:00 p.m. ET) so make sure to make Bloody Elbow your home for this event.

This post will cover live results and thoughts for the main card on PPV.

The main event of the evening sees Georges St. Pierre return to action following a knee injury that helped keep him out of the Octagon for over 18 months. He will defend his welterweight title against interim champion Carlos Condit. The co-main event sees a battle to establish the next welterweight contender as Martin Kampmann faces Johny Hendricks.

Francis Carmont will face Tom Lawlor on the PPV broadcast and Mark Hominick looks to get back on track against Pablo Garza. One more fight will be promoted from the undercard to the PPV in the wake of Nick Ring's injury and the subsequent cancellation of his bout with Costa Philippou.

Mark Hominick vs. Pablo Garza - Round 1 - Garza with some hard shots early. Garza with a leg kick, one back from Hominick. Garza is really opening up but Hominick is trying to keep the pressure on. Garza with another hard leg kick. Hominick opens up with a nice combo. Garza with a big knee and that looked like it buzzed Hominick. Garza using nice combinations, mixing up his kicks and punches. Hominick to the body and then a hard jab. Hominick with a hard right and then a good jab. Another hard right by Hominick and that caught Garza hard. They go to the ground, Garza almost had the armbar but Hominick gets out. They're back to standing. Garza really opening up. Hard shot to the body, Garza is down! Hominick digging to the body with knees on the ground and another body shot. Now Garza gets up and he lands some big shots. Great round. I'd give the slight edge to Garza.

Round 2 - Garza comes out firing. Garza really letting those combos go. Now he shoots in and Hominick tries to spin and almost gives up his back. Garza on top in Hominick's guard. Garza on top just smothering, landing a few punches. Hominick tries to spin out but can't. Hominick bleeding from near his eyes from a Garza elbow. Garza really taking this fight over now. Now Hominick is swelling badly. Garza is just wrecking him now. Garza up comfortably in my eyes.

Round 3 - Garza with a big takedown a minute into the round. Garza back to doing what he did last round, Just controlling with elbows and top control. Hominick just looks like he has nothing left. Much less punishing round, but still clear. They were standing briefly and Garza went for a takedown and Hominick rolled for an omoplata but couldn't get it. Another Garza round. Might only be 29-28, but no doubt who won this.

Official scorecards: 29-27, 30-26, 29-28. Pablo Garza wins by unanimous decision.

Mark Bocek vs. Rafael dos Anjos - Round 1 - RDA with an uppercut and Bocek pushes him into the cage and now lands a knee. Bocek inside again and clinching. RDA with some elbows to the head as Bocek is trying for a double. RDA defending the takedown very well. Knee by RDA lands hard and he lands a few more to the body. RDA is taking over with the striking but now Bocek gets in a knee but eats a bunch of uppercuts. Now Bocek tries to get a takedown off the kick, but RDA defends again. Leg kick by RDA and a hard left hand. 10-9 dos Anjos.

Round 2 - Hard low blow by Bocek. Bocek really looking for the takedown but RDA is the one on top now. RDA looking for a kimura. Bocek looking for the takedown again as they get to their feet and this just isn't working and he's getting tired, so not having another plan is not a good thing. Bocek bleeding badly now. Dos Anjos starting to do anything he wants here. Big elbow from RDA as they stand up. 10-9 RDA.

Round 3 - Bocek trying like hell to get it down again, RDA defending well again. Knee to the body, punch and then a big takedown y RDA. He's just dominating him now. Bocek gets up. Bocek still looking for a takedown. Bocek didn't go away all fight, even when he was getting beat up, but he just had no plan once he couldn't get the takedown.

Official scorecards: 30-27 across the board. Rafael dos Anjos wins by unanimous decision.

Francis Carmont vs. Tom Lawlor - Round 1 - Carmont really measuring things well and landing hard in the clinch as Lawlor pushes him into the cage. Carmont with a hard kick to the body and Lawlor has not been able to get a takedown. Lawlor looking for the takedown again. Again, Carmont defends well. Lawlor can't win this fight outside of a one punch KO if he can't get a takedown and he hasn't been able to yet. Lawlor has a guillotine and he's trying to finish it, it looks loose though. The round ends. 10-9 Lawlor I guess? Very close.

Round 2 - Carmont with a hard knee to the body, Lawlor coes back with a hard left hand. Lawlor has him against the cage but Carmont lands a hard combo as they separate. Good right hand by Lawlor. Leg kick by Lawlor. Carmont defends against the takedown again. Lawlor with a takedown now and he has 2 minutes to work. Lawlor passes and now has a guillotine and he pulls guard with it. Carmont gets free and lands a few punches but 10-9 Lawlor.

Round 3 - Lawlor pushing him into the cage, looking for a takedown again. Ref breaks them again. Lawlor can't get the takedown again but Carmont just isn't doing much. Bad rund, Lawlor should absolutely win this.

Official scorecards; 29-28 Lawlor, 29-28 Carmont, 29-28 Carmont. Francis Carmont wins by split decision.

Martin Kampmann vs. Johny Hendricks - Round 1 - Hendricks looks for the big punch but can't land flush. Huge punch by Hendricks and Kampmann is down! OH MY! Johny Hendricks wins by KO (punch), round 1.

Georges St. Pierre vs. Carlos Condit - Round 1 - Oh god, Georges St. Pierre is back. Condit on the outside, circling. Jab to the body by Georges. Condit looking for leg kicks. Right hand by GSP and a leg kick. Condit flurries a few times but not landing anything. Left hand gets in for GSP. GSP shoots in and he gets the takedown. Condit tries for an armbar, no danger for Georges. Hard shot from GSP. St. Pierre passes to half guard. Good punches from GSP again. GSP to half guard again. Condit gets guard back again. GSP just grinding away now. Condit punching off his back, but GSP is landing better ones from on top. Condit gets up as the round ends and he is bleeding badly. 10-9 Condit.

Round 2 -Condit comes out with a combo that misses, GSP tags him with a jab. GSP is throwing head kicks now. Right hand by GSP. Another jab by GSP. Condit finally lands a combo and now a good boy shot. Big right hand by GSP. Body shot by GSP. Condit with a kick and GSP catches it and gets a quick takedown and he's on top again.Condit leaving pools of blood on the canvas now. GSP lets him stand at the end of the round and punches him in the head. 10-9 GSP.

Round 3 - GSP coming forward right away. CONDIT WITH A HEAD KICK AND GSP IS HURT! Condit is on top on the ground, throwing big punches and elbows. GSP is swelling. Condit landing big elbows. GSP is cut! GSP gets to his feet but he's still hurt. GSP with two big punches and a BIG takedown! GSP on top now, landing a few punches while Condit is throwing off his back. Right hand by GSP. Condit has body triangle off his back, he gives up on it though. GSP pushing him into the cage.GSP with some right and a left elbow. Carlos stands up and GSP is looking for a big takedown, Condit tries for a kimura and it just results in him getting taken back down. GSP finishes the round on top but I'll go 10-9 for Condit based on the big head kick.

Round 4 - Condit firing kicks right away. Head kick by Condit but GSP tags him with a jab. GSP with another takedown. GSP has side control, but Condit gets half guard back quickly. Condit throws a lot of punches off his back but those just don't count much in scoring. GSP landing good shots of his own and he passes to half guard again. Very big elbow by GSP. Condit looking for a kneebar, but GSP isn't in danger. Condit tries for a triangle and gets punched in the face for his trouble. Condit gets to his feet and he reverses a GSP takedown, GSP gets up and gets a quick takedown. 10-9 GSP

Round 5 - Superman punch, leg kick combo by GSP. Leg kick by GSP as he avoids a shot from Condit. GSP ducks under a punch and gets a takedow, Condit gets up though and kicks free. Big right hand by GSP. Right hand by Condit lands as he comes forward and now a left hand. GSP with jabs that are landing and a good right hand and now GSP with a takedown. GSP tries to pass from half guard to mount but he can't quite get free. Condit gives up his back, but he rolls and is free but still on the ground with GSP on top. GSP wins the round and wins the fight. Great action, great fight, great performance and GSP is back.

Official scorecards: 49-46, 50-45, 50-45. Georges St. Pierre wins by unanimous decision.
