The American Gangster is at it again. Even though Chael Sonnen has a TUF gig and UFC light heavyweight title bout against Jon Jones to look forward to, he can't resist throwing out a dig or two at the guy that was originally offered the TUF spot across from him, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. Chael spoke to TMZ about Strikeforce star Ronda Rousey's impending UFC debut, and...well, just read it:
"I'd like to congratulate Ronda Rousey on becoming a pioneer in this sport. It's well deserved and overdue. Looks like Mitt Romney has a new favorite fighter and Rampage Jackson has another opponent he can't beat."
The two men have been trading barbs for a while now, with Rampage recently going after Sonnen on Inside MMA and Sonnen turning to twitter to skewer the former UFC light heavyweight champion. Rampage is scheduled to face Glover Teixeira at UFC on Fox 6 in what he says will be his last fight in the UFC. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see him stick around for another bout with Sonnen at all though.
