It took a little while for the action to get going, but once Flyweight John Dodson finished Jussier Formiga da Silva at 4:35 of round 2 at UFC on FX 5: Bigfoot vs. Browne.
John Dodson's UFC on FX 5: Bigfoot vs. Brown flyweight bout with Jussier da Silva was really two fights in one. First there was the round and a half of utter tedium as both fighters circled each other warily, throwing few strikes and none with bad intent. The other 15 seconds saw Dodson twice drop da Silva with punches and finish him on the ground the second time.

The winner of the fight was promised a title shot against Demetrious Johnson, the first ever Flyweight champ in UFC history. Dodson should be able to match Johnson's speed and his KO power should present a serious threat to Johnson's title reign.
