And I already took the joke for Mauro The Terra Ranallo Serra, dammit. This fight took place in yesterday's Thai Fight event, which I also linked, but only wonderfulspam came out to party.

I thought the show overall was between so-so and fun. Muay Thai fighters generally have a reputation as slow, plodding pressure fighters, but the guys who fight on Thai Fight frequently go for crazy flying knees and spinning back fists.

This particular fight against Mauro was an absolute blast to watch though. End of first round, Buakaw caught Mauro's left leg with his right hand, leaving Mauro's entire right area exposed for body hooks and headshots. Second round was more ass-whupping, and then it was the third round I believe that Buakaw landed a nasty elbow that created a huge mouse on Mauro's head.

I won't lie, this was definitely a squash match, but damn was it fun to watch.
