According to an article at Globo.com, Anderson stated the following at an event earlier today in Rio:
- People are talking so much about this... I don't look forward to that, it doesn't motivate me since there are other athletes in my team, such as Minotouro, Maldonado, Feijão, Caldeirão, that fight at that weight class. I fight at 84kg (185lb), that's where my title is. But people talk so much about it, and we are UFC employees. Of course, I can keep saying I don't want to, but what if he (Jones) takes the money Dana is offering him to fight me? It would be hard then. I'm not driven by money, I fight because I like it. So, I don't know... I wouldn't like to. But were it to happen, it would have to be at catchweight. It wouldn't be a fight for the title. I already have mine and I don't want one just to drop it afterwards.
That's all. What do you guys make of it?
