UFC president Dana White told reporters following UFC 153 that unlicensed Heavyweight Alistair Overeem would get the first title shot against the winner of Junior dos Santos vs. Cain Velasquez.

UFC Heavyweight champ Junior dos Santos is booked to defend his belt against Cain Velasquez at UFC 155 on December 29 in Las Vegas, Nevada and UFC president Dana White has made it clear that Alistair Overeem will be the first to challenge the winner.

Following UFC 153, Dana told MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani that the unlicensed Overeem would have a title shot waiting for him upon his return from an unscheduled twelve-month vacation for a failed urine test.

"Yes, that's what we're thinking. We'll see how this thing plays out and what happens. Nothing is done. Nothing is etched in stone, but that's what I'd like to see happen," White said.

The UFC had planned for Overeem, the former Strikeforce and K-1 kickboxing champ, to face dos Santos at UFC 146 earlier this year, but the Nevada State Athletic Commission surprised Overeem with an unannounced urine test and caught him with elevated testosterone levels.
