Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira had been out of action since having his arm broken by Frank Mir in his last trip to the cage. But at UFC 153 he outstruck, outgrappled and submitted Dave Herman in their co-main event fight.

Round 2 - Big left by Nogueira and he drops Herman! Nogueira moves to side control and lands a few elbows. Nogueira with an americana and he's trying to finish it off, but he's got mount anyway. Herman gives up the back but Nogueira is pretty high. Nogueira tries to take an armbar but can't finish. Herman with another takedown and Nogueira has half guard. Herman stands up and gets away. Nogueira lands some more punches now that they're standing. Another big left for Nog and he gets the takedown and now mount. Looking for the armbar again. Noguiera locks it in and it's over!
