Before his UFC 153 rout of Stephan Bonnar, UFC MW champ Anderson Silva cried from emotion after his friend Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira defeated Dave Herman.
UFC Middleweight champion Anderson Silva cried with joy after his friend and teammate Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira submitted Dave Herman.

The two have trained together for years and Silva credits Nogueira with saving his career after he left Chute Boxe and had been cut by the Pride organization.
Nogueira had a back and forth fight with Herman before submitting him in the second round. Herman had bragged that "jiu-jitsu doesn't work on me" so Nogueira's win had an element of poetic justice. Nogueira lost his last bout to Frank Mir when Mir broke his right arm with a kimura.
Silva taunted Bonnar in their fight, standing with his back to the cage and letting Bonnar tee off before finally finishing him with a knee to the mid-section.
