I'll be honest I did not understand the hype of Griffin Bonnar.

I've watched it I think 3 times, and each time I just thought they were going all out, BUT it was sloppy as fuck. Like slow punches, bad clinching. I think its because of the level of the sport has developed so much. Like Korean Zombie garcia 1 that was still all out, but it was as sloppy. Or slow punches. Like Leonard throws wild shit but it didn't look as sloppy as Bonnar and Griffin.

Were there exciting fights before this? Very few fights come to mind. I haven't really watched the older UFC like Chuck/Tito days, but yeah.Some exciting MMA bouts I know of like Frye/Takayama.

Please name as many... If you need a reference for great fights, some like Hendo/Shogun, KZ/Garcia, Diaz/Daley, Fedor/Rogers, Leben/Akiyama, Couture/Noguiera, Huerta/Guida, Manhoef/Cyborg
