Mike Tyson's Hotel Room Broken Into In 'Hangover'-Style Fashion
The saying 'art imitates life' was flipped a week ago as the Las Vegas hotel room of boxing legend Mike Tyson was broken into while he sleeping inside.
According to reports from TMZ, the 45-year-old Tyson and his family were staying at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas after attending a Stevie Wonder concert on New Year's Eve and awoke to sounds of 'rustling' and the glow of a flashlight. The thief escaped before Tyson could intercept them and nothing was reported as stolen.
Fans of the movie "The Hangover" will remember the famous plot thread of the main characters breaking into Tyson's Las Vegas home and stealing a tiger.
Tyson was also in the news recently for business matters as Yahoo's Dave Meltzer said to expect Tyson's record of main eventing pay-per-views (PPV) that sold more than 1 million buys to be broken by Manny Pacquiao. Tyson headlined six PPVs that surpassed the golden mark, while Pacquiao has five.
In 2011, Pacquiao joined Tyson and former UFC champion Brock Lesnar as the only men to draw 1 million+ PPV buys two or more times in a calendar year. Tyson has the record with three in 1996 (Evander Holyfield, Bruce Seldon, Frank Bruno).

Something tells me they weren’t sure as to whose place they were breaking into.

The man is a bull and still ridiculously powerful. Not to mention he’s a got over 50 professional fights, 40 of them ending within minutes.
That guy better have had a fucking amazing double leg, text book top control and been a huge guy.

The phrase "safe from [Mike] Tyson" makes absolutely no sense.

I never got into FutureRama.
But, I’m older than you so I’m curious… So my question is, did Futureama fill the support roll left on Sunday nights when Family Guy got cancelled, X-Files were on their way down or hiatus-ed or whatever? I mean, I only remember them trying to replace Malcolm in the Middle with it, which we were all esctatic about, instead, Family Guy got booted for a short while and I could just never get into it, thinking that it was just ghetto Simpsons. You guys liked it, right? Care to give me a quick rundown as to what you dig about the show?
I’d really appreciate it, as ALL of my friends shared the same feelings for this, therefore, we were unable to find anyone who liked the show. To see it quoted and memed so often today makes me wonder what I’ve missed out on.
