I think I'm one of the few people who called this for Johnson
And not so much because Johnson is great but because Johnson usually loses to grapplers and Beltran doesn’t grapple (nor is Beltran very good on his feet).
Johnson came across really well in the post-fight interview. I’m pleased to see him in the UFC even if he’s never going to be a contender.
Ugh, that technique… Lavar Johnson won’t make it far in the UFC. His strength seems to be the only thing going for him. He already seemed quite tired, moved quite slow, threw sloppy, but hard, punches. 2 more fights and he’s out of the UFC is my guess. Give him to Russow so Mike can be the most unimpressive guy with a five fight unbeaten streak in the ufc.
Damn he took alot of shots.
It looks like a great stoppage but really it should have been stopped sooner, he caught like 3 extra uppercuts to the face
