I think Rashad got this... I don't know if it's going to be a good fight but I think he's getting the W in the end.

That's my concern
I’m confident Rashad will get his hand raised but I’m worried it won’t entertain the “new eyes” or hardcores that hate anything the man does.

I think Phil's tendency to let loose in the standup (even though it's terrible) will give Rashad a chance to get something higlight worthy
But Rashad needs to fully flush that Greg Jackson conservative fighting poison out of his system.

he’s looking sharp in these sparring sessions, but i’m not liking the way he keeps his feet straight when he kicks like that. either way, i think he’s got this.

Are Greg Jackson’s fighters a combined 6-10 since March like the fighters in Rashad’s present camp are? And has Greg Jackson had two of his guys get cut from the UFC since then, as Jorge Santiago and Anthony Johnson have been, with Michael Johnson likely to make it three unless he pulls off a pretty significant upset when he fights Shane Roller?
As Ah-nold would say, Rashad made a beeg meestake when he left Jackson’s.

If Rashad wants less hate ...
… he needs to move down to 185, where he’ll stand and trade far more often, and finish fights far more often.
Maybe after Phil Davis “wins one for JoePa” on Saturday night, that’s exactly what Rashad will do.
