Join Me For My Final Radio Show On 106.7 The Fan
After long consideration, I've decided to end my radio show 'MMA Nation' on 106.7 The Fan. If I'm being honest, I don't really want to end it. I love this show and love what I'm able to do. But there's no such thing as a free lunch and working 7 days a week is killing me. I was also offered a job by SiriusXM to help with their existing MMA coverage, so I accepted. I won't be doing MMA Nation anymore, but I'll still be talking about MMA on the airwaves. I know I'm incredibly lucky to have had the experience at WJFK as well as this new one at SiriusXM.
My radio show started when I was here at Bloody Elbow. Despite previously having a show on AM radio, I really didn't know how to do radio properly. I learned it on the job and was able to do so in part because of the helpful feedback (both criticism and support) of this community.
I'll be cracking the mics tonight at 9 p.m. ET. I know we all have lives and plans, but I'd be honored if you joined me one last time on the air.
This radio show started at BE. It is only fitting it ends with a nod to you all and (hopefully) your participation.

Didn't see this coming.
I thought the videos you started to film with Kid Nate were really interesting and was looking forward for more stuff. But when you have to move on you have to move on. Hope you’ll do a post or something when your new show starts with all the infos of how to listen to it.
Good luck!

It was cool having a MMA themed radio show even though I mainly listen to podcasts all the time and not the radio

Always enjoyed listening to the opinions presented. Hopefully I can continue to listen to archived shows you’re involved with through Sirius.

MMA nation on wjfk brought me to BE, which lead to dropping 20 lbs. and BJJ, so yeah, you rock Luke!
Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?
