It's a rare chance for the right candidate to combine their passion and their profession. We'll even pay your relocation costs if you don't already live in the Washington, DC area.

Do you want to work in MMA and shape the way the sport's statistics are covered? FightMetric is hiring a full-time developer and technical specialist to work in our Washington, DC offices. If you're not already in the DC area, FightMetric can help play your relocation costs.
What you need for this position:
- 2-5 years technical experience
- Strong self-starter
- Programming experience (PHP/Ruby/Javascript/HTML/CSS)
- Linux server management experience
- Database management experience
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Knowledge of MMA
- Graphic design experience a plus
- Ability to work nights and weekends
What you'll be doing:
- Developing leading edge software employing MMA statistics, including data capture, data feeds, and fantasy games
- Project management and oversight
- Data systems development and management
- Advanced database querying
- Fight Night systems management

I do Technical Support, they got us doing 2 days a week from home currently. Saves me from my hour long commute.
Little things like working from home do a lot for moral. Management realizes this
I would like to apply for this job, but because of college I have a absolute hatred for programming now. I don’t know how any one can do that sort of thing day in and day out.
