This is a dream fight. I was really disappointed when they didn't coach TUF opposite each other and the previous Sonnen/Munoz vs Silva followed by the winner of Maia/Bisping fighting for the title seemed to create a scenario that the two would be unlikely to fight in the near future... but that is not the case and a fight I really wanted to see is back.

The truth is if Sonnen loses to Bisping, a big part of my interest in the MW division will die. I don't expect Sonnen/Silva II to go much differently than the first fight but I'll be damned if I ever want to see Bisping fight Silva. That's just a waste of everyone's time IMO.

I could spout about how most of my old favourites are retired or on their way out the door, but that's trivial and not important. Chael Sonnen is someone I want to see succeed. He is probably the last man in the UFC who deserves an ounce of success but I want to live in a world where Chael Sonnen can prosper.
