Here's how Bloody Elbow's Brent Brookhouse saw the fight during our live blog of the event:

Matt Hughes vs. Josh Koscheck - Round 1 - Hughes flicks out his jab a few times, a good idea to test how comfortable Koscheck is getting punched in his previously injured eye. Hughes keeps working the jab, he's going to do everything he can to touch up that eye. Nice left hook for Koscheck briefly buckles the leg of Hughes. Left hook by Hughes lands now. Hughes back to the jab a few more times. Uppercut lands for Hughes and Koscheck is having a bit of trouble with Hughes on the feet. Another uppercut by Hughes and he uses a little head movement to avoid the punches of Koscheck. Koscheck looks for a takedown, can't get it and lands a couple punches before Hughes pops him with a knee from the clinch and they separate. Few big punches by Koscheck and Hughes is hurt. A few more big shots by Koscheck and Hughes is starting to get wobbled a bit. Knee by Hughes and he slips. Koscheck on top throwing big shots and before the final horn sounds Hughes is out cold. Josh Koscheck wins by knockout (punches on ground), round 1.
