okay, all jokes aside...

Lindland always seems to be a nice guy in interviews. Hope he gets through the Hendo lawsuit and is able to go on training under “Team Quest”.

Matt Lindland talks to Sherdog about fighter pay in MMA: "I’ve always had a lot more stuff going on outside of fighting, but a lot of that came because I couldn’t make a living just by being a fighter. Even now, how many guys at the top level of the sport -- and by that I mean Strikeforce and the UFC -- can make a living off what they get to fight? It’d make for an interesting story that I definitely would read. In the NFL, there’s about 900 or so players, and they have a minimum salary that allows them to make a good living. Once fighters get to the NFL of MMA, there’s no minimum salary. Even with all of the success the big MMA promotions have had recently, it’s barely gotten better than when I got started."

Matt Lindland Injured, Out of KSW 15 (according to Fighters Only) Only a few weeks remain until the KSW 15 card scheduled for March 19th in the Torwar Hall, located in the Polish capital of Warsaw. At middleweight, Mamed Khalidov was being lined up to face Matt Lindland according to KSW but the promotion says Lindland has now pulled out of the fight citing injury.

Matt Lindland: All this adversity will only help Chael Sonnen's fight game "Chael’s doing good. Chael’s doing, you know, fine, as he can be expected. He is having some troubles. This is a difficult season for him. He’s had, you know, the whole California thing going on and then now he’s got the mortgage deal going on and this is a really good opportunity for Chael to grow from this and learn a lot of valuable lessons and come out the other side a stronger, better person, you know, hopefully a better fighter even. You know, this is going to make him really tough. This is a tough situation. If a guy can get through this and come out the other side of it, he should be able to apply those principles that he learned, you know, for toughness and coming through adversity to his fight game and, you know, I think that might be the only element that Chael’s lacking is that adversity and coming out on the other side a victor, you know, through the adversity."
