Absolutely amazing

He took the time off to have all of the surgeries and to get healthy…came in still at about 80% and said that even 80% was a lot better then where he was before the surgeries.

It was risky to rush his recovery and not fight at 100%…but he went in there and got a knockout in 3 minutes, didn’t have a grueling, extremely difficulty fight. He won, got his career going again, and now can complete his recovery and return to 100%, I couldn’t be happier.

His chin didn’t look bad either. They say once your chin starts to go, that time off and away from contact is the only hope of it sort of recovering a bit, his chin was once legendary and perhaps it’s ability to regain it’s strength is as well. He didn’t get rocked bad or dropped in this fight, which is good. He can take this huge win, finish his recovery, and come back strong and hopefully give us a few more big wins before he retires.

As far as the belts, I’m pretty sure the UFC issues a new belt for every champion and they let the guys keep the belts they had.

Awesome awesome interview.

His shout out to the Canadian fans was smart business too. Those guys are rabid fans and you can tell he appreciates it.
