Condit vs BJ Fight Of The Year Calling It **(Condit dick-rider here)
4 time "Fight" Bonus winner Carlos Condit takes on 2-weight Champion BJ Penn
** Kay, Condit only officially has 3, but his bout with Ellenberger was definitely a fight of the night fight

Rory Mcdonald vs Carlos Condit
Mcdonald never summited, never ko'd, never lost. Result: Condit by TKO
Hardy never knocked out or tko'd. Result: Condit by left hook Knocked the motherfuck out
Condit vs Kim
Stun Gun Kim never summited, never ko'd, never lost. Result: Condit. Flying Knee. Nuff Said.
Carlos Condit finisher of 26 of 27 victories. The one decision he went to with Ellenberger, saw both fighters getting dropped.
BJ never summited or KO'D. This is going to be fight of the fucking decade. BJ does not have to go 5 rounds either, so he can blow his load and we wont see pitiful 5th round BJ unless its fucking BJ mudering Diego Nightmare BJ.
I am more excited for this fight than the GSP-Nick Diaz fight. FUCKING WAR CONDIT.

Same, war Condit
I hope he wins so bad, the guy is all kinds of awesome.
He has more then a 96% finish rate in his victories. If he stops BJ Penn in any fashion, it would be amazing, I believe Penn has only been stopped by Hughes(crucifix) and GSP
But yes, this fight is going to be all kinds of great. Condit is gnarly. He can take an absolute ass thrashing and can deliver an absolute ass thrashing. An even divide of 13 wins by KO, 13 wins by submission…he could very well be our next WW champ.

Condit winning gets him a title shot
Something I would love to see. I’ve long been a huge Condit fan, and his lone UFC loss was the closest fight I’ve ever seen. Beating MacDonald, Hardy, Ellenberger, Stun Gun and BJ is definitely worthy of a title shot.
Remember all those folks that said WEC lightweights simply wouldn't be able to hang in the UFC? Yeah.......

WAR CONDIT
He beats BJ by TKO third round

And the stoppage vs Hughes was really due more to a freak(ish) injury so i tend not to count it. So i feel he’s really only been stopped legitimately once. If Condit can do it, that would be really impressive.
"Who are you and how the hell did you get in here?"
"I'm a locksmith... and i'm a locksmith."
Freakish Injury?
What do you speak of? Also, BJ didnt actually even get stopped by GSP, he got stopped by his bro, if it was up to BJ he wouldve finished that fight, like the lil egg head he is
BJ seperated a rib while passing to Hughes back
And there’s a reason the fight was stopped.

I mean seriously, Condit is a nut. First 15 victories he all finished in the 1st round. And Up to Jake Ellenberger he finished 23 STRAIGHT opponents. That is insane. Imagine if Anderson had Condit’s killer instict. Not that Silva doesnt but Condit has it every single fight. Silva brings out the animal whenever he feels like it. In no way am I saying Condit is better than Silva, he just WANTS and goes for the finish more. Something GSP could learn from.
going for the kill all the time is not always the smartest thing, idk maybe because u might get caught in a submission or knock out. Wanderlei for example. Silva has more patience maybe that’s why he has the belt. i like him just the way he is.
Anderson would KO Fedor That is all.
I agree, I like him just the way he is.
However, he could have been “better” in most peoples eyes, like Dana, even tho Dana considers him P4P best. EG, the fight with leites and maia he easily could have went on the attack a lil more instead of going for the decision. If condit faced someone not on his level, he would not toy with them and just finish them. Not that im bashing Silva, as I love his cocky attitude and how he plays with his opponents, but he could have finished them(or attempted a lil harder to) but chose not too IMO.
Whoa.
I love Carlos, but he fought Kampmann before Ellenberger. But since Ellenberger he’s been stopping guys with authority again.

Big Penn fan, and I love to watch condit fight too. I think fight of the year is not unreasonable.
I've been a fan of Condit longer than any other fighter
I hope he wins this with an exclamation mark
Ummmmmmmmmmm....
There is also a BJ In the title…

Love this fight!
Unfortunately I am a fan of both guys. realistically i think BJ takes it by superior everything.
I think he'll have good enough cardio
This is definitely a fight he can get motivated for.
Anderson Silva is, and forever will be the greatest of all time.
Where can I buy my Cerrone cowboy hat?
I think the size difference will be a significant factor here. I think Carlos will chew him up with knees and his reach. Plus carlos will have a cardio advantage later in the fight. I’m expecting a one sided beating

I am the biggest BJ Penn fan but I think Condit is hitting his stride here. The guy is an animal. Definite title shot after this if he wins. The best thing that can happen to the WW division is Condit KOing GSP.
"I think he doesn't accept punches very well. I don't know why." - JDS speaking of Brock Lesnar
Or if Nick somehow pulls out the win and we get Carlos/Diaz for the title. Holy shit! I’ve wanted to see that fight for a while now.

I can tell you it's really hard to summit people.
I went whale watching the other day. I think. There were a lot of people in that lake.
And the sweat making it more difficult is not a stretch at all. When you wear a Gi you get so much more leverage, you can just slip out of subs. Thats why I respect Condit so much, he does everything… except takedown defence at times and lays on his back too long (shouldve beat kampman cuz he couldve got up)
I don’t think that word means what you think it means

Yes! I’ve been riding the Condit warwagon since the WEC days, and the guy is a warrior. It’s going to be an epic fight, but I think Condit takes it.

Fitch.
You honestly think Dana and co. are gonna risk having BJ or condit lose a decision only to have fitch fight gsp in a fight that wont garner much interest?

![Alexander "The Mauler" Gustafsson blogs about his recent win over Cyrille Diabate at UFC 120
"Let's do a quick fight analysis: I was ready to go the distance with Cyrille, I knew that he was a good striker, decent on the ground and hard to knock out. When the fight started I right away felt that my punches and combos were hitting him and that he couldn't keep up with my pace. The game plan was to take him down and be on top striking, but during the fight I felt that it was going so well, so I kept boxing with him. In the second round I took him down, got on top, he had a strong under hook but I managed to sprawl, established mount and took him out with a rear naked choke on the third attempt, I don't think it was sunk in either but he didn't want to be in the fight any more. I did some small mistakes that I will fix for my next fight.
Answers to questions: I will be traveling to Alliance MMA before my fights and also during off season. I hope to write a new [UFC] contract soon, but I haven't heard anything yet. My financial situation is better after this fight, I won't be working the doors at clubs anymore, just training full time! I would like to face most fighters in my division but Tito Ortiz would be a good name ;) I haven't heard anything about Lil Nog but if I got the opportunity it would be an honor!"
