Questions for Curran if you have time
1. His standing defense is unbelievable, particularly how quickly he reacts to block counters even if he’s in the middle of a combo.
I’m curious what he attributes to building up this skill? Natural ability, a focus on it in training, etc.?
2. Despite the above, it looked like Sandro was finding the mark before he caught him. Does he agree, and was Sandro noticeably faster and more powerful with his hands than he expected?
3. Since dropping to 45, Pat seems to have seriously increased his aggression and offense instead of playing the counter-punching game. Was this a specific strategy, and if so, why?
Thanks guys, good luck.

Dana White already said no to Silva vs. Hendo.

Main fights
I get a kick out of some of the people who think that Okami will be able to repeat the performance that Sonnen did not too long ago. Though I feel that Okami has better submission defense (like Team Quest’s arch-enemy the triangle), he also doesn’t have the grappling chops that Sonnen does. I could see Okami taking a round or two off of Silva, but it seems a little silly to consider that Okami could somehow do five. I like Silva by a stoppage in the second or third.
Remember that one time where Nogueira took a pounding then came back and submitted some dude’s face off? Schaub is a heavy hitter, and the years of punishment seem to be catching up with Big Nog. Schaub by with a stoppage late in the first, or second round.
I’m tired of hearing Griffin lovers yammer on and on about his win over Shogun. The broken, tired Shogun. It was his own fault for coming in hurt, and unable to compete, but if he let’s Griffin take another win from him, I’ll be a little upset. For as charismatic as he is, I don’t feel that Forrest is really much more than a slightly above-average fighter, and as long as Shogun shows up in a non-damaged state, he should win.
Intrepid.

Actually I take that back, I misread the staff predictions and thought Bishop picked Okami. Turns out it was KJ Gould, my bad.

what's next for Anderson Silva after Okami
this Okami fight is just to keep Anderson busy… whats next?
A rematch with Sonnen later in 2011 or early 2012? A showdown with Hendo at the UFC on Fox show in November?
How close is forrest to a title shot with a win in this one?

Most likely to end in a clean KO?
Silva v. Okami
Shogun v. Griffin
Big Nog v. Schaub
Cane v. Nedkov
Thiago v. Mitchell
LOL....
Forrest, your apathy stalls the show horribly sometimes, but your redeeming qualities usually make up for it.
