I think you're taking it a step far
Just because rolling with someone (which in itself is outside of many people’s comfort zone) makes him uncomfortable if he knows they are gay doesn’t mean he had a negative view on people that are gay.
A guy has the right to feel however he wants about something and it’s not like Nog is choosing to feel that way. Big Nog has always come across as a good guy to me at least.

But point still stands , is she now sexist because she had a bad experience with a guy and doesn’t want to roll with them? A girl at my school broke her wrist while rolling with a girl. Would she be sexist if she quit rolling with girls?

And as far as your earlier question, if girls don’t want to roll with guys for safety issues such as in the situation Luke used then fine, that’s justified and understandable. But to not roll with guys because they have penises and the “malice” that Nog so frequently referred to? That seems pretty disrespectful to me.
Now here’s a question for you: what about heterosexual girls that refuse to roll with lesbian or bisexual girls? Is there prejudice laced in that preference?

i have ten girls that go to my school.
Two are very religious in attending. If they didn’t want they wouldn’t have to train with guys generally. All of them enjoy rolling with me and others , but I don’t let them roll with everyone. Several have told me they don’t want to roll with other guys and of course that is respected. If they chose not to roll with men I would support that as well.

There’s also the issue that men are generally bigger than women, and it may not be practical to roll together.
That said, I think it’s weird if a woman refuses to roll with a guy on the only grounds that he has a penis.

little guys are usally the ones that hurt girls.
They go too fast and hard because they don’t want to lose to a girl. It’s the whole short man syndrome I suppose. The bigger guys usually play nice ,just use technique and let the girls sub them. I keep them away from the super heavyweights for obvious reasons.
Girls more than guys will choose not to roll with a guy due to a personality conflict/ don’t like their vibe. Where guys like beating guys they don’t care for.

This is bunk. If it happens, it’s because HW is thin as hell. The only redeeming grace of the Schaub title shot would be that either Cain or JDS would end him, and we wouldn’t have to think about him again for a few years.

He reminds me of Bader somewhat. Talented enough to climb the rankings and sniff at a title, but in trouble once he fights someone elite. Both have the potential, they’re just too green at this point.
Not saying that he deserves a title shot
But outside of Big Country, 2 years ago, he has completely dominated everyone he’s fought.
I’d like to see him fight a top 10 guy, that isn’t over 35 years old, and then we can value where he truly is at.

But who (currently in the UFC) would get the next title shot instead? Lets look at those at the top of the division besides Cain and JDS:
- Lesnar: coming off a lose and surgery and his return date is a major question. Surely needs at least one win before a title shot
- Mir: I guess an arguement could be made here, but also hasn’t won against top level guys in a while and hasn’t been super impressive in his recent wins.
- Carwin: Coming off back to back losses so not getting a title shot for a while
- Big Nog: coming off loss and the whole discussion is assuming Schaub bets him.
Assuming winner of JDS/Cain comes out healthy, and fight again soon it basically has to be either Schaub or Mir and I’d rather go with Schaub. If the winner is injured and on the shelf for a while then all bets are off of course. If Schaub wins and is healthy and winner of JDS/Cain is healthy, things are lined up pretty well for a Schaub title shot if he has “earned it” or not I think.

Yeah, didn’t mean to diss Nelson. Just while everyone is saying Schaub getting a title shot is crazy, when you look at it Mir or Schaub seem the only realistic choices at the moment assuming no injuries. Neither of those seem too crazy, but I’d probably rather see Schaub at the moment.

Just seems that would be an awfully long lay-off for Mir so timing would work out better for Schaub, but if Mir wants to wait I’d certainly have no problem with that either. I’d favor Mir over Schaub in a fight today, but have to see what happens in the Big Nog fight. Schaub has been showing steady improvment especially in the standup area.
I honestly think
Mir deserves to face JDS/Cain. I think that fight would be all out more interesting.
Look at Mir and Schaub. Mir has done everything Schaub has done and then some.
He is coming off a two fight win streak, with his last two losses being to the champion and the interim champion. It’s just an out an out better fight.

Maybe the time off, surgeries and subsequent recoveries will have rejuvenated Nog somewhat. Getting KO’d by Velasquez doesn’t necessarily mean his chin is shot. He’s taken a lot of punishment, but he definitely has a chance in this fight.

Brendan Schaub defeats MMA veteran Gilbert Yvel via KO, he thinks that not only should he get a title shot, he should be recognized as one of the TOP 5 HW fighters and should be considered Top 10 P4P.
Two notes:
- It’s good that Schaub is very confident and thinks highly of his status in MMA.
- It would be really awful for Schaub if Noguiera actually wins this fight but something tells me that Noguiera has to fight years of naggin injuries.
I tend to be biased towards strikers . . . exciting strikers.

I say throw Schaub to a bad ass next. Lesnar or Carwin would be great (maybe Reem if he gets signed)! I am tired of him cherrypicking the older fighters to pad his record. Why does HE get to choose his opponents?

I don’t think that Schaub deserves a Title shot if he beats Nogueira. The logical next fight for Title contention if Schaub beats Nogeuira is Mir vs Schaub. There are guys like Mitrione and Travis Browne that Schaub could fight next, but I think that Mir vs Schaub makes the most sense.
