This was one of my favorite live MMA experiences ever. Anyone else at UFC 88? Was it not weird as all hell?

My producer Othello went
Said it was quiet as a church when Liddell got flattened.

While her shrill and shrieking is annoying . . .
I understood. But I don’t know who is more annoying Kenny Florian’s brother or Master Mark Dellagrotte screaming “BE UNPREDICTABLE”
I tend to be biased towards strikers . . . exciting strikers.

I can never tell those two apart. They’re both so equally annoying.

Chuck was a man ahead of his time.
He was planking back in ’08.

It was this fight
and the GSP vs Fitch ppv that got me into this sport.
After having friends who were into the sport since the early 2000’s it was these 2 events that finally made me start actively following the sport.
People do not like to think. If one thinks, one must reach conclusions. Conclusions are not always pleasant.

I know it's not on the same level
but there was a similar silence when Condit knocked out Dan Hardy at UFC 120 in London , It went from Hardy chants to complete silence in about 2 seconds…
I saw this fight at a bar. IT FELT LIKE BEING THERE!!
Yeah I wish. I wasn’t in Atlanta but the bar I was went deathly silent. There were only a few crazy MMA fanatics that dared to cheer above the loud silence. Some people looked towards my table like we were a bunch of assholes & jerks. Hey, it was a great KO victory. What can you say? Chuck is cool but that was a crazy ending to fight that was supposed to be over when the contracts were signed.
BTW, great write up!
