Bobby Lashley vs. Eddie Sanchez to Headline Titan FC 19
HDNet officials have announced that Titan FC 19 will be headlined by a bout between former WWE star, Bobby Lashley, and UFC veteran Eddie Sanchez. The card will happen on July 29, at the memorial hall in Kansas.
This will mark Lashley's 8th MMA bout, with his last outing being a very unimpressive decision victory (video) over a blown up middleweight in John Ott back in March. His opponent, Eddie Sanchez, hasn't been that spectacular recently either, and will be trying to rebound from back to back losses to Mike Whitehead and Neil Grove.
Bobby Lashley (6-1)
Win John Ott Decision (Unanimous) Titan FC 17

Sanchez' experience and hands should make the difference here.
Here’s hoping that Sanchez can stay on his feet long enough to put this away.
Say whatever you want about Lashley
But he really believes in stepping up in competition!
lashley’s tough guy image is as transparent as that draft dodger Stallone acting as a green beret coming home from Nam, he should go to acting where he can act like he’s fighting, cuz so far he hasn’t fought IMO, Lashley’s intestinal fortitude to face solid opponents makes bob sapp’s losing record look like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow

Big time. Would you say best fighter he has faced at the time he has faced them? Griggs wasnt as heralded as he is today when he faced Lashley?
man I hope not
Phil looked really really bad in his last outing. Time for the NYBA to hang ’em up.

When is somebody going to tell Lashley
to lose some of those beach muscles? Doesn’t he have a manager, or a coach…..or friends?
No sir, I don't like it.
change diet, do more cardio, etc. those muscles don’t really help in MMA.

=\ I hope lashley gets ko'd in the first minute.
Something about that guy rubs in off in the wrong way. Maybe it’s him trying to get ahead based off his name from his wrassling roots but I got wishful thinking Eddie Sanchez via Chad Griggs beating.

I always wonder why people hate Lashley
but are generally ok with Jason David Frank (green ranger), who is far more offensive in every way.

The thing with Lashley is that he really forces that takedown and doesn’t pick his shots for ground n pound, so he ends up gassing very early in his fights. I can see that happening in this fight. Eddie Sanchez is an extremely tough guy, and it takes a lot to finish him many times. I can’t see Lashley getting the finish here, and I feel that will cause him to gas. Eddie can potentially take this.

I dont think he "potentially" takes this.
I cant see any way in hell he is not a substantial favorite in this fight.
I can see Sanchez as a favorite. I just have a feeling that we may see Lashley get the takedowns and stay on top for two rounds, and manage to survive the third round. Sanchez will light him up on the feet though.

and except the fact that Sokoudjou still has more upside than Lashley, doesn’t gas as easily. oh yeah, he has a better standup game, doesn’t react as adversely to getting hit, and has the sweetest dreadlocks in MMA.
i feel better now.

Sanchez by murder
2nd round. After Lashley gets one take down in the 1st and does nothing with it.
You know what they say
WAR LASHLEY
I want to see a takedown and him already transitioning to side control when they hit the mad super quick planned out wrestler style
silly dominator
