Things change fast in the MMA world. Yesterday, Charles Oliveira was talking about a matchup with Joe Lauzon at UFC 138. Today, he stepped in as a late replacement for Paul Taylor to take on Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone at UFC on Versus 5 on August 14th in Milwaukee, WI. The UFC's twitter feed catches us up:

Oliveira was in action less than two weeks ago at UFC on Versus 4, where he submitted Nik Lentz in the second round. However due to an illegal knee that preceeded the submission, the bout was ruled a no-contest. Cerrone himself was a replacement, stepping in for John Makdessi to face Taylor.
