Former UFC light heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort will face Japanese-Korean superstar Yoshihiro Akiyama at UFC 133 in a middleweight tilt. Belfort is coming off a KO loss to middleweight champion Anderson Silva at UFC 126. Akiyama hasn't fought since a unanimous decision loss to Michael Bisping at UFC 120, his second straight loss following a submission loss to Chris Leben at UFC 116.
