As with every major show, Bloody Elbow will be here to bring you live results, play by play and commentary for Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson. The live blog will start with the beginning of the Showtime broadcast (10 p.m. ET) so make sure to make Bloody Elbow your home for this event.
The event is headlined by a bout between heavyweight legend Fedor Emelianenko and current Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Dan Henderson. Fedor will be looking to stop his first ever career losing streak while Henderson will look to add one more huge win to an already impressive career. The co-featured bout on the card is a women's bantamweight title bout between Miesha Tate and champion Marloes Coenen.
Robbie Lawler and Tim Kennedy meet in a middleweight battle that could produce fireworks. Rounding out the card is a welterweight fight between Paul Daley and Tyron Woodley as well as a potentially explosive clash between Scott Smith and Tarec Saffiedine.

Scott Smith vs. Tarec Saffiedine - Round 1 - Smith blodding forard, Saffiedine circling outside. Leg kick by Tarec and he keeps coming up short with a pawing jab. Right hand, leg kick combo by Saffiedine and a nice two punch combination moments later. Smith pushes him into the cage but gets turned around and Saffiedine starts landing knees to the body. Nice combination by Saffiedine on the exit and Smith just isn't doing enough early but he's always one punch away from ending the fight. Right hand lands for Saffiedine. Smith tries to come forward but Tarec circles away. Smith's punches are just too slow. Spinning heel kick just misses for Tarec. 10-9 round for Saffiedine on the BE scorecard.
Round 2 - Smith just has nothing early and Saffiedine is much faster and effective. Tarec really opens up against the cage and Smith is forced to shoot as he appears badly hurt. Smith turtles up on the floor and Saffiedine lands some punches before working to get his hooks in from the back. Smith manages to escape and tries to open up with punches but gets pushed away before he can do anything. Smith just looks done as a fighter. Big punches and a head kick from Saffiedine. 10-9 Saffiedine.
Round 3 - Smith is just getting picked apart. The power punches and head kicks are there for Saffiedine whenever he wants. Smith just can't get his punches there and he's forced to chase and run into punches. It's been the same thing since early in the first round. Fantastic left straight from southpaw stance by Tarec and then a spinning back kick that just misses the mark on Smith's torso. Smith really tries to throw some bombs in the last 45 seconds but it's just too little, too late as Saffiedine avoids wel until the final bell, landing one more head kick. 10-9 Saffiedine.

Paul Daley vs. Tyron Woodley - Round 1 - Punch lands for Woodley early, a right hand. Daley went to throw a kick and Woodley caught the leg. Accidental low blow by Daley in the clinch and a brief pause in the action. They restart and Daley is looking to pick his moment to let the punch go. Left hook lands for Daley. Wild striking from Woodley. Woodley shoots in and Daley defends well. Woodley pushing him into the cage. Daley continuing to defend well looking for Big John to restart them. And there's the restart. Daley just misses with a hook. Woodley ducks under a hook from Daley and looks for the takedown again and again can't get it. Daley gets separation. Daley starting to stalk again and now he pushes Woodley into the cage. Woodley spins him and Daley turns him again. Nice knee to the body by Woodley and a return from Daley. 10-9 Woodley I guess for pushing Daley into the cage repeatedly.
Round 2 - Woodley pushes him into the cage early but they separate. Woodley puts him in the cage again. Woodley finally gets the takedown and Daley gets full guard. Light ground and pound by Woodley and he tries to move Daley to the cage. Elbow by Woodley. Daley briefly moved his legs up for a triangle. Woodley continuing to work some ground and pound and Daley gets to the cage and sits up. Woodley continues to work from the top but he's not getting much done beyond simply winning the round via position. They're restarted standing and Daley stuffs a takedown, lands some punches on the turtled Woodley before Tyron pulls guard and Daley lands a few punches. 10-9 Woodley.
Round 3 - Right hand for Daley and a left hand follows. Woodley misses an uppercut. Daley looks to open up and Woodley gets a takedown. Woodley is on top in half guard. Woodley throwing a few elbows. Crowd boos as Daley gets guard back and Woodley slowly works from the top. Daley uses the cage to stand up. Woodley continues to hold a leg looking to get the fight back to the ground. Daley gets to his feet. Sprawls and lands some punches, at least one to the back of the head. Daley sprawls again but only has a minute left to end it. Uppercut and knee by Daley. Big knee by Daley and Woodley falls and grabs a leg. Daley rolls into an omoplata attempt and then tries to switch to a triangle but can't finish it. 10-9 round Daley on my card which gives Woodley a 29-28 win.

Robbie Lawler vs. Tim Kennedy - Round 1 - Kennedy misses a kick and Lawler is stalking early. Lawler sprawls out of the takedown attempt by Kennedy. Kennedy shoots again and Lawler defends and lands a nice hook. Kennedy with a takedown, Lawler scrambles to his feet, gets taken down again and Kennedy spins to the back. Kennedy tries for a rear naked but Lawler gets to his feet. Double leg by Kennedy and he's on top in side control. Step over into full mount. Lawler just kind of sits up to get out of the mount of Kennedy. Lawler letting his hands go before the end of the round but doesn't land. 10-9 Kennedy.
Round 2 - Kicks to the leg by Tim early. Front kick to the head missed by Kennedy. It's a lot of movement and not much of anything meaningful happening early. Lawler lands an uppercut that opens up the face of Kennedy. Tim pushes hard and manages to get the takedown into half guard. Kennedy's face is bleeding very badly. Kennedy letting his hands go a little from the top finally. Lawler lands a right hand off his back. 10-9 Kennedy.
Round 3 - They touch gloves to start the round and Lawler is walking forward and stalking. Lawler throws hands and Kennedy shoots. Kennedy looking much less aggressive. Weird exchange of knees and almost a takedown by Kennedy but they remain standing. Head kick by Kennedy. Kennedy looks to be there for the taking but Lawler isn't throwing his hands. Kennedy finally with a takedown because..well..Lawler didn't try to do anything. 10-9 Kennedy for the clean sweep.

I'd be lying if I said this show hasn't been massively disappointing so far.
Marloes Coenen vs. Miesha Tate - Round 1 - Coenen smiles as they come together with Tate throwing punches. Tate immediately pushes her into the cage looking for the takedown. Knee to the body by Coenen. They're back to distance and Coenen just misses a left hook. Right hand by Tate before Coenen answers with a hard knee. Tate shoots for a takedown and Coenen is looking for a guillotine. Tate gets the takedown but her head is still in the choke. Tate was about to tap but decided not to. Coenen is forced to let it go. Tate is in side control. Tate trapping an arm. Tate throwing a few elbows. Tate rides out position to the end of the round 10-9 Tate I guess.
Round 2 - Tate pushing her into the cage early again. Coenen working knees to the body. Conen gets the back in the takedown attempt and tries to get her hooks in. Coenen with a body triangle. Coenen switches to hooks from the body triangle. Back to the body triangle after some punches to the head and body. Coenen flattens her out and lands a series of hard punches. 10-9 round for Coenen.
Round 3 - Coenen working knees to the body and leg kicks. Tate looks like she is fading. But as I type that she explodes for a takedown. Coenen working her legs up but can't catch anything. Tate content to ride out position here. Restart due to lack of action with a little less than 2 minutes left. Leg kick and a right hand by Coenen but Tate with a takedown. Tate really does look exhausted at this point. Tate is winning this round via position, and Coenen sweeps to finish the round. Tate is VERY tired going back to her corner. 10-9 Tate.
Round 4 - Body kick early by Coenen and a nice hook to the head. Tate eventually gets the takedown and Coenen was looking for the guillotine but couldn't get it locked in. Tate in side control and Coenen trying to escape and landing elbows. Tate switches sides and has a deep arm triangle and Coenen is forced to tap out! Miesha Tate wins by submission (arm triangle), round 4.
Fedor Emelianenko vs. Dan Henderson - Round 1 - Fedor comes out throwing hard. Henderson landing heavy and backing him off. They're trading big shots and Henderson pushes Fedor into the cage. Fedor's right eye is already swollen and bleeding. Fedor defends a takedown by grabbing the fence. Hendo throws a bomb on the exit that just misses. Fedor unloads a right hand that just misses now. Gus says it landed, it did not. Now an overhand right does land. Fedor follows him to the ground. Henderson sweeps and lands some huge punches and Fedor is out! Dan Henderson wins by TKO (punches), round 1. One or two may have been to the back of the head but it was in the heat of the moment. HUGE moment for Henderson.
