Dream is starting to add fights to their September 24th card, and the two that were announced today are both in the lightweight division. Dream lightweight champion Shinya Aoki will meet former WEC lightweight champion "Razor" Rob McCullough, and former Sengoku lightweight champion Satoru Kitaoka will face Willamy "Chiquerim" Friere, who held the Shooto 154 lb. title for eight months before vacating it last year.
Aoki is coming off a win over Rich Clementi at Dream: Fight for Japan in May and has won five in a row overall. Razor Rob fell to Patricky Friere in the quarterfinals of the Bellator lightweight tournament back in March.
These two fights join a matchup between "Lion" Takeshi Inoue and Caol Uno on the card, which will likely also feature the first round of the world bantamweight grand prix. There are five confirmed contestants for the grand prix so far: Hideo Tokoro, Masakazu Imanari, Kenji Osawa, Bibiano Fernandes, and Rodolfo Marques.
