The UFC announced another fight for UFC on Versus 6 on October 1st in Washington D.C. between Yves Edwards and Rafaello Oliveira. Both fighters will be coming in off a loss so this fight could be considered the most important of their respective UFC careers.

Lightweight veterans Yves Edwards and Rafaello Oliveira will square off in Washington DC on October 1st in a quest to get back in the win column after recent losses to Sam Stout and Gleison Tibau, respectively. This bout on the UFC Live card was verbally agreed to today. 

Yves Edwards was seeing a bit of a career resurgence since returning to the UFC, going on a two fight win streak before being knocked out by Sam Stout at UFC 131. Rafaello Oliveira has been unable to find success in the octagon going 1-3 in his UFC career. They share a win over John Gunderson.
