Strikeforce is ready to commence with the semi-finals of the Heavyweight Grand Prix, and it will go down September 10th in Cincinnati. Unfortunately Alistair Overeem was forced off the card due to either an injury or complications with the date, so undefeated prospect Daniel Cormier has been inserted into the tournament and will face Antonio Silva in one of the semis. The other features a battle of former Pride stars with Josh Barnett facing Sergei Kharitonov. In addition to those bouts, Strikeforce's middleweight title is on the line when Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza defends his belt against Luke Rockhold.
