Hey-o, BElitists.  I won't take up much of anyone's time, just do me a favor and provide some insight for me if you're knowledgeable about a solution to my problem.  My laptop, the primary source for all of the time I waste here on Bloody Elbow, is on its last days...  Not a bad PC, but it has a ridiculous overheating problem.  When I stream fights, I have to lay it on a giant box fan to keep it cool.  Classy, I know.  The video card is currently at 90 degrees Celsius as I type this, and judging by the giant fire icon next to the temperature, I'm going to assume that it's bad.  (Obviously)

Anyways, my point.  I should get to it.  This UFC player that now loads on every page I visit on BE sends my laptop's temperature to the point to where it shuts down automatically to prevent damage, and well, it's kind of a bitch to deal with.  Sure, I can pause the video playing, but that's a pain in the ass after a while, and isn't as beneficial as stopping it from loading altogether.  So I'm looking for a way to block it from loading to begin with.  Even if I didn't have a crappy cooling system in my PC, I can only watch the Condit vs. Kim highlights so many times...  Like all other UFC highlights, they refuse to show the finish.  Anyways, my one and a half years of CIT has been worthless in figuring out if there's a way to block the ad.

I'm using Google Chrome, and within the options I went to 'content settings'>'plug-ins'>'manage exceptions' and blocked "secure-uk.imrworldwide.com" and "static.eplayer.performgroup.com", which are the two URLs it's asked me for permission to allow data saved in the past.  This did nothing.  So I'm hoping somebody else has a better idea, because I imagine once the next UFC live thread comes around, my poor computer may possibly combust into flames as is.
