British lightweight Curt Warburton has been released from the UFC. He turned to his twitter account today to share the news: "Want all my followers to hear it first. Av just been cut from the UFC after losing to Joe lauzon. Must stay strong and I promise to be back...Good job I have great sponsors, great team, great manager, and the best of friends and family. I will be back on the big stage soon." Warburton went 1-2 in the UFC with a decision win over Maciej Jewtuzsko sandwiched between losses to Spencer Fisher and Joe Lauzon.
