A few weeks ago, Ryan Bader was seen as a rising star with the potential to carry the light heavyweight belt some day. After the shocking loss to Tito Ortiz, where does he stand now? Ortiz exposed Bader as inexperienced, while showing the clear holes in his game.
"I've got to work on my defense and my movement," Bader told ESPN. "That's one of my problems. I don't move my feet. Those mistakes cost me the fight."
So the biggest question is, where does Bader stand now? How many more losses until he gets cut? Bader said he clearly feels the pressure.
"I lose three in a row, that's tough man," Bader said. "You see guys get cut for that. So yeah, I do feel that pressure.
"I'm not calling anybody out. I'm not saying anything. I'm not even in position to say when I'd like to be back. I'm just waiting to see what they want me to do and it's actually nice, because I'll just get better in the meantime."
