UFC 136 Fight Card Shaping Up

Stay connected for news and updates

The UFC has released a large portion of the fight card for UFC 136 in Houston, and it's one of the best of the year already. Two title fights on top, two middleweight fights featuring four top 10 fighters, and two lightweight fights featuring main-card staples. One of these fights is going to be relegated to the undercard, which is nuts. Gray Maynard and Frankie Edgar will face off for the UFC lightweight title in the main event, while Jose Aldo will defend his UFC featherweight title against Kenny Florian in the co-main. Here's how the whole card breaks down:

Oct 8th, live on Pay-per-view from Houston, TX:

Frankie Edgar (13-1-1) vs. Gray Maynard (10-0-1, 1 NC) [Lightweight title]

Jose Aldo (19-1) vs. Kenny Florian (15-5) [Featherweight title]

Chael Sonnen (25-11-1) vs. Brian Stann (11-3)

Demian Maia (14-3) vs. Jorge Santiago (23-9)

Melvin Guillard (29-8-2) vs. Joe Lauzon (20-6)

Anthony Pettis (13-2) vs. Jeremy Stephens (20-6)

Dave Herman (21-2) vs. Mike Russow (14-1, 1 NC)

Josh Grispi (14-3) vs. Matt Grice (13-4)
