Mike Russow vs. Dave "Pee Wee" Herman Set for UFC 136 in Houston

This morning, the UFC announced a heavyweight matchup for October's UFC 136 card in Houston, where Dave "Pee Wee" Herman will face Mike Russow:
21-2 Dave 'Pee Wee' Herman and 14-1 Mike Russow have verbally agreed to a heavyweight showdown at UFC 136 in Houston this fall, confirmed UFC president Dana White today.
Both men are unbeaten inside the Octagon.
The two heavyweights are on extensive winning streaks, with Russow looking for his 11th consecutive victory, and the always entertaining Herman hoping to make Russow his fourth win in a row. There's no word yet on whether this bout will make the pay-per-view main card, but we'll keep you posted as the rest of the card comes together.

Not by armed employees of the city charged with protecting the populous.
I understand your desire to add some levity, but it is a repeated situation and chicago has a big problem with a lack of accountability on the police force. And I’ll tell you, it’s been a real beast trying to get copies of the depositions from his cases. Freedom of Information Act is nice, but it could stand to move quicker, heh.

Interesting match up
With a positive tongue you could say that Russow is hard headed, a scrapper and always willing to throw down. With a negative tongue you could say he’s merely blessed with a solid chin and has managed to barely eke out a surprising streak of victories against less than stellar competition. I find myself somewhere in between. He’s made it this far, and in a division as messed up as heavyweight he might just end up winning the belt. Okay that’s unlikely. But still.
I expect Russow to get hit many times in this fight. Many, many, many times.

He should be starting to look good-ish for this fight.
If you look at him from the Duffee fight to the Madsen fight he actually lost a lot of weight, and looked a lot better, though no pundits picked up on/commented on it.
A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and gets to bed at night, and in between he does what he wants to do.

I see him getting decisioned after wearing himself out from punching Russow’s mega-cranium non-stop for 2 rounds.

i hate to be a hater...
but i hope peewee gets ktfo’d. something about that guy really rubs me the wrong way. probably his comments about bjj “not working on” him and saying disrespectful things about the martial art. also, the hypocracy of him saying that and then scrambling to his feet against einemo every time he was taken down.
If it worked, he wouldn't have gotten up so easily.
