WEC veteran Chris Horodecki (17-3) has signed with Bellator, and will debut at Bellator 47 against Chris Saunders (9-1). Horodecki went 2-2 in his WEC run, and was released by the promotion following his loss to Donald Cerrone at WEC 53. His last fight was a first-round submission win over David Castillo on an Ontario card in April.

I don’t understand the hate for Horodecki. Dude comes to fight and is goin’ have a good shot in Bellator.
never thought he should have been released in the first place. Horodecki isn’t the greatest but he’s solid and losing to a guy of Cerrone’s caliber shouldn’t be a make or break bout & I thought he might drop to 145 once they became UFC fighters….something else prompted the release before the WEC was folded into the UFC. Makes you wonder who will be cut (on a loss) prior to the SF merger.

so when you do pull it off, you don't get cut?
most of the Cerrone fight was on the ground & his horrible team kept telling him to wrestle.
He should drop to 145, I think he just needs a new team.

I can see the athletic commission report now:
Bellator 47 disclosed salaries:
Saunders – $2000
Horodecki – Lunch money
Still a Beer Monster.

I always thought he looked like Wonderboy (I've posted this before)
Seriously, he should consider changing his nickname.
Dude is a solid prospect, the hate is lame.
Fitch's clinch.
